Grammar: Common adverbs of manner 

  • Usage: (Adverbs describe verbs and go after the verb. I am walking slowly.
  • Spelling changes (-ly, ily)
  • Sentence creation using the target grammar.  Example:  The boy is running quickly.
  • Identifying adverbs in a text.

 

  • Vocabulary: slow-slowly, quick-quickly, quiet-quietly, loud-loudly, sad-sadly, polite-politely, happy-happily, angry-angrily
